Small Business Saturday-- Virtual Edition

Small Business Saturday 11_28 (1).png

Typically during the holiday season, we are able to host a holiday bazaar where all of our various business-owner clients are able to come and set up a table to sell their products and services. Since we are unable to do an event like that this year-- we wanted to bring it to you, virtually!

In honor of Small Business Saturday, we have rounded up some of our clients’ awesome and creative businesses for you to peruse as you shop this holiday season.

For the Home

Arbor & Flora Plants: “Arbor & Flora is a woodworking and plant design studio, and offers a collection of consciously curated and crafted goods for the home. During these uncertain times, we hope that you find peace and solace in your home, and that our pieces can provide small sparks of joy. We're a latina led business bringing you crafts that we've made by hand and other special pieces for you to fall in love with.”

Becca Dwyer Design: “Illustrator, graphic designer, and cat enthusiast based in San Diego, California. Since 2015, I’ve been producing marketing materials, websites, and illustrations for a variety of clients and individuals. My passion has led me to release my own coloring book, start my own design business, and conquer the world! Actually I’m still working on that last part, stay tuned.”

Bog Berry Dryer Balls: “We work with other small and family run businesses. The wool is sourced regionally, and the bags are printed here in Philadelphia by a small family business.

Bog Berry Dryer Balls are made by hand in the US with Mulesing Free Wool - 100% wool. They are non-toxic and safe for families and pets, and good for folks with sensitive skin or allergies.

Unlike commercial fabric softeners, dryer balls won't diminish absorbancy in towels, cloth diapers, or athletic clothes.

They're as durable as hard PVC plastic dryer balls or tennis balls, but won't damage clothing or require heating plastic (ew!)

Each set comes in a reusable cotton bag, printed with information and instructions for use. That makes giving them as gifts easy, and the bag can be repurposed for another use! We love when folks use them for buying from the bulk section at the grocery store.”

Photography

Ann Blake Photography: “I’m Ann Blake, the Philadelphia photographer behind all these beautiful, bright, and airy photos. I provide heirloom photography for families passionate about celebrating the ones they love and preserving their memories. You can find me downtown taking photos of a mother snuggling her newest arrival, or grouping together a giggling family of five in front of a rustic barn, or capturing new branding photos for a momprenuer excited to share her life behind-the-scenes. Wherever I am, whoever I photograph, I capture who they are with a click of my camera and a flash of their smile.”

Chinasa Cooper Photography: “I picked up my first 35 mm film camera as a means to make friends at a new school. For me, there was a camaraderie in working around each other in the small darkroom waiting for our photos to develop. It was an opportunity to share my perspective and to see the different perspectives of those around me. This is what I love about photography, the ability to communicate (&transform) the way you (& others) see the world.

Whether taking photos of the interior of a room, an event or a portrait of a friend, this is what I strive to bring to & share through my photography – a new, unique perspective.”
