Every client’s first step with The Gym is a free 20-minute Warm Up Call to help find out if this is the right step for them. As part of the team that is on the other end of those calls, Rebekkah and Cymone walk through the process, what you can expect and why we do it that way.

  • Rebekkah discovered The Financial Gym through a podcast. After becoming a client, she worked closely with Joy, which transformed her financial outlook. Her passion for The Gym’s approach led her to the warm-up call team, where she ascended the ranks, eventually becoming Client Experience Manager.

  • During a difficult period in Cymone’s life, she sought the guidance of The Financial Gym. Her trainer provided emotional support while equipping her with the knowledge she needed to become financially healthy. 

  • Cymone’s dedication to helping others along their financial journey led her to the warm-up call team, where she now plays a crucial role in creating a safe and empathetic space for clients just beginning their financial wellness journey. 

A Note About Warm-Up Calls  

  • Talking about money can be challenging, but the way to get more comfortable is by doing it. There is no shame in talking about money; warm-up calls are a safe space to do it. 

  • Everyone on the warm-up call team is a current client and has been through the process. 

  • The warm-up callers are not incentivized to sign people up. It’s genuinely just a chat to figure out if The Gym is the best place for you on your journey. 

  • Feelings of shame or embarrassment are common because, as a society, we don’t talk about money. It can feel lonely if you are struggling and don’t even know where to turn for help. That is why we focus on creating a welcoming first step through these calls. 

How Warm-Up Calls Work 

  • In the first call, we focus on the positives because taking that first step can feel intimidating. Every financial situation is fixable. Even if it doesn’t feel that way when you’re in it. 

  • After scheduling online, someone from the team will call you at the selected time. We start by asking what inspired you to book the call. 

  • The caller will tell you some background information about The Financial Gym and how the different programs work, answer your questions, and help you decide if it’s a good fit. If it’s not, we try to provide other resources that may be. 

  • If you decide to sign up, you’ll be paired up with a Certified Financial Trainer. The caller will ask questions and match you with someone based on those questions, your goals, and your personality. 

  • If you need some time to think about it or discuss it with a partner, we’ll send you all of the information via email. If you decide to move forward, you’ll be matched with a Trainer then! You can change Trainers at any time for any reason, so if the match isn’t a good fit, a whole team is ready to help.

Final Thoughts 

  • Warm-up calls are a safe space to come as you are. It is a judgment-free zone, and the team has heard it all, and been through some of it! 

  • The Financial Gym can meet you where you are, whether you’re feeling hopeless about your money or doing okay and want to level up. 

  • It can be hard to think about what’s out there when you are in survival mode; a Financial Trainer can help you dream bigger than you ever thought possible.
