Roundup of Your Trainer’s Favorite Podcasts

Roundup of your trainer's favorite podcasts

One question our trainers always receive is “what is your favorite podcast?” Many of our trainers are avid podcast listeners and love listening to new podcasts—so much so that we even have a whole slack channel dedicated to our favorite podcast episodes!

Here is a round-up of our favorite podcasts:

  • Brown Ambition - “Brown Ambition is a weekly conversation between two successful women of color dealing with topics of professional and financial ambition, will and so much more. Wisdom is found here weekly.”

  • I Will Teach You To Be Rich - “I Will Teach You To Be Rich gives you access to couples sharing the most intimate aspects of their lives. These are real stories about love and money from behind closed doors.”

  • Earn Your Leisure - “Earn Your Leisure will be giving you behind the scenes financial views into the entertainment and sports industries as well as highlighting back stories of entrepreneurs. We will also be breaking down business models and examining the latest trends in finance. Earn Your Leisure is a college business class mixed with pop culture. We blend the two together for a unique and exciting look into the world of business.”

  • The Compound and Friends - “The Compound brings you the latest in business, investing, economics, finance, and much more!”

  • Girls That Invest - “Join Sim and Sonya, two millennial investors who are extremely passionate about all things investing and personal finance as we break down the intimidating and not-so-well-taught world of investing and growing wealth, minus the jargon.”

  • Ten Percent Happier - “ On this show, Dan talks with eminent meditation teachers, top scientists, and even the odd celebrity…Dan's approach is seemingly modest, but secretly radical: happiness is a skill you can train, just like working your bicep in the gym. Your progress may be incremental at first, but like any good investment, it compounds over time.”

  • Geobreeze Travel Podcast: “Travel podcast for anyone looking to level up their miles and points game. Points strategy coach and influencer, Julia Menez, interviews travelers from all walks of life about how they approach the game of points and miles and travel for next to no cost.”

  • Be There in Five: “As a person that often texts their friends "Be There in Five" when she just got in the shower, Kate Kennedy (entrepreneur, self-proclaimed millenni-old, and unofficial pop culture reporter) started a company that aimed to solve a major problem of like minded people running out the door; wondering if they left their curling iron or straightener on.”

  • Smart Money Mamas Show: “Where moms come together to learn about money – in all the ways it impacts our lives – with love. Discover how you can feel confident with your finances; ditch the money shame and guilt; raise independent, money-savvy little humans; and give yourself the freedom and stability to live your best life.”

  • Good Life Project: “What does it mean to live a good life? What's the role of happiness, meaning, work, love, purpose, kindness, friendship, and more? How do status, circumstance, gender, privilege, race, identity, and more play into the quest to live your best life? These are the questions and topics we explore every week in conversation with leading voices in art, science, industry, and culture.”

  • We Can Do Hard Things: “We will do the only thing I’ve found that has ever made life easier: We will drop the fake and talk honestly about the hard. Each week we will bring our hard to you and we will ask you to bring your hard to us and we will do what we were all meant to do down here: Help each other carry the hard so we can all live a little bit lighter and braver, more free and less alone.”

  • Planet Money: “Imagine you could call up a friend and say, "Meet me at the bar and tell me what's going on with the economy." Now imagine that's actually a fun evening. That's what we're going for at Planet Money.”
