Podcast Notes
The executive team makes a lot of quick decisions everyday. You can’t waste time, because there are so many things that come up and there are so many fires to put out every day.
Bridget has been with the Gym over three years, Caitlyn has been with the Gym about two years, and Alicia has been with the Gym about two and a half years.
What do you love about your job and what do you hate about your job?
Bridget: She hates that they can’t help everyone as much as they would love to. There is Gym magic happening all the time and it is hard to see people not commit and walk away before it happens.
She loves the team she works with, because it is a family environment. Her real love is seeing the client transformations and being a part of their journey. She loves watching the clients reach goals they never thought were possible.
Caitlin: She loves the impact they have on their clients and how everything she does every day impacts the company itself. She loves when other employees do something to positively impact the business.
She hates that there is not enough time in the day. There are so many things to get done.
Alicia: She loves everything she does. She is emotionally attached to the employees and clients and she loves watching the progress clients make. She has a passion for the company and will do what she can to get it to the next level.
She doesn’t hate many things about her job. She wishes she had more time and resources. She struggles with being patient about the growth of the business sometimes, and she gets a little agitated at times and tries to keep it in check.
Shannon: She loves everything about the company. Her passion continues even after six years.
She hates it when they can’t help clients, because she wants to help everyone. The Gym is getting out there where more people are hearing about it, and she hates all of her haters and online trolls who don’t know her or the team.
When you are telling someone about the Gym, what is one thing you feel like they should absolutely know?
Bridget: The Gym is judgement free. You will be greeted with a smile, a glass of wine, and a tissue. The team spends a lot of time making sure the information is digestible and clients are comfortable.
Caitlin: Everyone needs this in their lives. It is hard work, but you need to start. You will see the impact.
Alicia: The Financial Gym is a safe place. Everything is fixable, it is not life threatening. This is a place you can go to and feel like you are at home. The employees at the Gym want to see you succeed.
Shannon: As with any company, it comes from the top down. Every decision made for the Gym is made by people who actually care and have a passion for the business. The team is here to support the clients.
