Manifesting with Sara and Beca

On this episode of Financially Naked: Stories from The Financial Gym, our host is Sara Belhouari, Level 2 Trainer. She is joined by Beca Soto, Level 2 Trainer, to discuss manifesting and what it means to them.

Podcast Notes

  • To Beca, manifesting wasn’t a huge part of her life, until she applied for her job at The Financial Gym. She fully believes if she keeps putting out positive energy, what is meant to come to her will come to her.

  • Sara’s gateway to manifesting was through The Secret. This book came out when she was in middle school. The book is based on the principle that in order to achieve something you have to act as if you already have it. She realized a few years ago that manifesting is also a lot about self worth.

  • “You are the average of the five people you surround yourself with”, Jim Rohn.

  • Beca’s clients try to manifest a job they like going to, good relationships, good health, and whatever they spend the most of their time doing.

  • For Sara’s clients, it is about getting from Point A to Point B and is very specific.

  • Beca starts all of her Plans for her clients with manifesting abundance quotes. She likes to dig into the psychology behind the money decisions we make and address those aspects, because that flows into the manifesting aspect. It changes the way you think and flows into every area of your life.

  • Sara recommends starting by allowing yourself to want the thing you really want. People are often afraid of saying what they want, because they don’t want to fail or to have people judge them.

  • It’s okay if you don’t know. Do the next right thing and the ideas will come to you. Get some personal development, like getting your finances sorted out. It will affect all areas of your life. Take the leap, whether it is your finances, physical fitness, or relationships. Change doesn’t happen unless you do.

  • Don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t happen right away. It’s not a no, but maybe not right now or something better is coming. Do the work.

  • Do something that makes you happy and you will find your way and your people. Tap into your creative side. If you change and shift one thing, if can make a big difference.

  • Beca likes to use Groupon experiences and she likes to bullet journal to tap into her creative side. Make time for it in your life.

  • For the naysayers, Beca would tell them she was in their place not too long ago. It didn’t change until something positive came through. Find something you are passionate about that you can’t imagine not believing in and working toward. Change your behaviors and your mindset. Know that you deserve it.

  • Sara tells people the only difference between manifesting and working hard toward a goal is that you are putting a different word on it. The difference between goal setting and manifesting is that manifesting has a spark of mystery and wonder. Building self trust is a huge key to manifesting.

  • There is an aspect to our universe that is a little mysterious.

  • Put yourself in the way. Go where the manifestation is taking you. Create the connections and bridges to get you where you want to go.

  • Manifesting is goals with some magic. The Financial Gym Trainers see this every day.
